On October 17, 2024, METU-DTX attended the Machinery Summit hosted by MAKFED in Istanbul.

The summit brought together all stakeholders of the machinery industry and featured discussions covered the impacts of digitalization on automation, smart production systems, and data-driven manufacturing, with a focus on sustainable and efficient production methods. The summit also hosted panels on digital and green transformation, exploring smart machines, big data, and IoT in improving flexibility and decision-making.

Participants showed great interest in the METU-DTX stand, where they learned about centre’s advanced lab applications and the latest technologies.
